Age of Heroes

The Age of Heroes, or New Zeitgeist, was a term coined at the time to differentiate the era when the existence of supernormals was recognised from the previous era, the First Wave, when they operated in secret or were merely rumours.
Different authorities regard the Age of Heroes as lasting as much as five to ten years, or as little as six months. When it started is a matter of interpretation, but it is almost universally accepted that it ended with either the Hope Tower Incident, the establishment of the New Power Grid, or the passing of the SARI Act.
