Crusader

Popularly believed to be a mask, though whether he actually was remains up for debate. Crusader was the online chat nickname of Max Strievek, who participated intensively in discussions regarding the legalities of a city full of supernormals. He argued eloquently that there should be a place in law for supernormal powers, and that the seriousness of a crime should not depend on the powers of the people committing it. He actively campaigned against mandatory mask registration, arguing that it would be a violation of their human rights. And because of that, many people assumed that behind the computer, he was a mask himself.

If he had a power at all, it was the ability to understand both sides of an issue, to speak persuasively and encourage people to listen, and later the simple fact that he had a vast quantity of information at his fingertips. He had read every debate about the supernormals, since the start of the First Wave.
