The Three Fools

Three security guards at the City Central Deposit Bank, who had the misfortune to be on guard during an attack by Dark Shroud. The three made rather bad interviews with cable news reporters, and caricatures of them quickly appeared in comedy sketches; showing general incompetence in all tasks. In retrospect, this was mostly undeserved; no guard could be expected to do the right thing when faced with an invisible thief for the first time.

The names of the three (and the defining characteristics of their fictional versions) are:

• Mark (The Reader, whose caricature is usually seen engrossed in a newspaper while oblivious of some crisis around him)
• Leo (Blame Warden, sometimes portrayed as a mask with the power to blame someone else for his mistakes)
• Tom (Chubby Guard № 2, parodied as being the 'fat guard', but not even the most important one: he is constantly upstaged or passed over in favour of unnamed extras. In reality he was the manager of the night shift during the robbery, though his comedic version doesn't usually have this distinction)
