Titrate (verb): To apply dialysis. Like dialysis, this is a technically inaccurate term used to describe the removal of Atlantean crystals from a person's body. In common usage, titrate is the usual verb, and dialysis the noun to describe the process.
A variety of other terms exist to describe radiation bombardment attempting to negate the effects of Savant Radiation (burn out), or surgical removal of crystal fragments (extract); titrate is mostly used to refer to the process for microcrystals, but can refer to removal of supernormal abilities in a generic sense too. This is in contrast to dialysis, which is assumed to include all of the above processes.
