A mask from the Age of Heroes, best known for his ability to become giant and overshadow enemies. He could also move from one place to another with impossible speed, allow bullets to pass right through him, fly, walk through walls, and a whole host of other abilities.
The public never quite realised that his actual ability was to change the refractive index of air or water. This enabled him to create many kinds of optical illusions, by causing the air around him to act as a lens or mirror. As a conjurer, he knew precisely how to use this ability to misdirect and intimidate opponents. His rival was fellow magician Presto the Magnificent, who was a lot more open about his membership of the magic circle.
