Giant Red Leopard-Moth
From Hope City Stories
Nymphalis dinopacyphilos, a species of butterfly common to certain central African countries. Occasional pictures exist, but the species was believed to be extinct, or to be a misidentification of another genus, until they were identified and named by Professor Leopold Schtott at some point in the early 21st century.
A large colony of these amazing creatures, the only group surviving outside the rainforest, have been introduced to hope City, bred, and trained by the mask known as Papillon.
