Core District

From Hope City Stories

The Core District is considered a district of Hope City for legal and administrative purposes, although it actually consists of nineteen individual buildings, most of which lie on the boundaries between other districts in the City Centre. These are buildings with an important civic function, and are owned directly by the City Council. They include the Antoinette Clarke Memorial Library, the City Museum, and the Hope City Police Centre, as well as Hope Tower. All of these buildings were originally designed together; looking at Hope Tower over the top of any of the other buildings could give the impression that they are parts of the same structure, creating a different artistic impression in each case.
